The working harbour is the focal pint of the town and is just metres from the huts. There is a private bathroom with bath or shower and free toiletries in each unit, along with a hair dryer. Our hut had a small veranda, ideal in the summer but chilly in late November. It’s a romantic setting (especially if you have a sea view), though the facilities are fairly simple – kids love the loft beds and the pebbles and shells right outside. The huts are beautiful, great for short stay and in the centre of Whitstable, the beach and trendy cafes, restaurants. Stayed in a dog friendly one. Breakfast is included at the Continental hotel, minutes walk along the sea front.

I had my assistance dog with me, in full uniform, ID passport but the staff didn’t seem to realise we have access to all areas. An amazing hut on the beach at Whitstable with stunning sunsets.
